Protecting Gods Children
It is mandatory for all volunteers, over the age of 18, who participate in Transfiguration Academy activities to complete the Protecting God's Children workshop and have a valid certificate on file with the school. Please note that re-certification is necessary every 3 years. Volunteers wishing to serve as class parents or to chaperone field trips must have a current background check on file with the school.
Transfiguration Academy is dedicated to the safety of the children in our school and community. Therefore, we will not make exceptions for volunteers who do not meet these requirements. The School occasionally hosts certification workshops.

The Region V Council for Special Education is sponsoring a Child Find public awareness campaign for its member districts to locate and provide services for unserved/underserved youth who are experiencing a delay or disability. Learn more about services that may be available: Project Child Find.
